Buffalo Cauliflower Wings

Spicy, crispy, and absolutely delicious! These buffalo cauliflower wings are sure to be a crowd pleaser!

These crispy air fryer buffalo wings are the perfect snack when you're craving something spicy but want a healthier-option to your typical wings. Vegetarian, vegan, or full-on meat eater, I'm sure you're going to love these.





Batter:

  1. 1c all purpose flour

  2. ~1/2c - 3/4 water (this is approx. add in water slowly until you get your desired consistency)

  3. 1 tsp garlic powder

  4. 1 tsp onion powder

  5. 1/2 tsp cumin powder

  6. 1/8 tsp smoked paprika

  7. 1/8 tsp cayenne

  8. 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper

  9. 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)

  10. 1/2 tsp red chili powder (or to taste)

Sauce:

  1. 1 c frank's red hot sauce

  2. 1-2 tbsp earth balance butter





Batter:

  1. mix together the flour and all spices and then slowly add in water until you reach your desired consistency. I like a thick batter, but make sure the it isn't too thick otherwise the coating can turn out a bit chewy.

  2. Chop up your head of cauliflower and coat it evenly in the batter, and tap off the excess by tapping your cauliflower gently on the side of your bowl

  3. Pop your cauliflower wings into the air fyer at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Make sure to flip the wings half way through so they're cooked evenly

Sauce + Assembly:

  1. Melt your earth balance butter and mix it into your hot sauce.

  2. Coat your air-fried wings in the sauce generously and then pop them back into the airfryer for another 10-15 minutes depending on your desired consistency. I recommend checking after 10 minutes to make sure you don't overcook or burn your wings! If they aren't crispy enough for your liking, then throw them back in for a few more minutes

  3. Before serving, baste a final coat of buffalo sauce on top and you're good to go. Serve with vegan ranch and celery sticks.
