Tapatio Fries with Jalapeno Sauce

A new twist on a classic comfort food! These spicy tapatio fries with creamy jalapeno sauce are sure to be a crowd - pleaser!

One of my favorite parts of owning an airfryer is discovering every possible way to make fries. These tapatio fries are my latest creation, and I couldn't be more pleased with the result. The tapatio adds the perfect amount of tanginess with a hint of spice to these seasoned fries, and they are down-right addictive!






Fries:

  1. 3 potatoes (~500 g)

  2. 2 tsp tapatio

  3. 1 tbsp oil

  4. 1/4 tsp red chili powder

  5. 1/4 tsp paprika

  6. 1/4 tsp cayenne

  7. 1/2 tsp onion powder

  8. 1/2 tsp garlic

  9. 1/4 tsp cumin

  10. Salt to taste

Jalapeno Sauce:

  1. 1/2 c sour cream (you can increase this if you find the sauce too rich or spicy!)

  2. 1/2 c mayonnaise

  3. 1.5 tbsp sriracha

  4. 2 tbsp pickled jalapeño brine

  5. 2 tbsp pickled jalapeño

  6. 1/4 tsp onion, garlic, and cumin powder

  7. 1/8 tsp paprika

  8. Pinch of salt (optional)

  9. 1/8 tsp cayenne

  10. 1/4 tsp of red chili powder





  1. Cut potatoes into fries and coat with oil, tapatio, and spices.

  2. Pop potatoes into the air fryer at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes for the full batch and shake half way through the cooking process at the 10 minute mark.
